To forget by heart

We have often wondered how our epoch will be labeled in the future. Modern, postmodern, deconstructivist, computational, and then? There is a common ingredient, in the interior and architecture projects of the last decades, that was not entirely clear but whose existence was perceived. Perhaps, just as that paradigm is about to collapse, that trait-d'union reveals itself: "the project of remembrance".
It’s that way of composing spaces, juxtaposing surfaces and materials, mixing lights with atmospheres to make them vibrate as a memory. The texture of a plaster or the grain of a wood is modulated to remind us of something else, another place, another time. Today the designed worlds are trampolines that project to an elsewhere.

The designer’s talent is all the more refined if he is able to make this leap as unanalog as possible, as unconscious as it is subtle. If you design an observatory, you don’t do it in the form of binoculars (as did, to laugh, Frank Gehry): you work on the perspectives of spaces, you collect materials and reflections that take us into space without detaching our feet from the ground.

Why do we say that all this is about to collapse? Because the king is naked. All this, now, he knows how to do it very well, much better, AI, Artificial Intelligence, Mid Journey, the middle trip. Mr. M.J. is able to read and decode, pull out from the world of memories, make explicit and redo, that journey of vibrations prepared by the designer.

For this reason, we have decided to undertake this research path by seeing the projects as experimental laboratories.
